Brief Answer:
Provide few more details .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have posted your Urologist has put a per urethral catheter to drain urine and you have noticed blood in urine .

I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments .
1) What is your age ?
2) What is the reason Urologist has put up a catheter for?
3) Are you taking any blood thinner medicine ?

The blood in urine is usually due to infection of bladder (Cystitis) .You need to get your urine culture done to trace out the organisms causing infection so that infection can be controlled by taking appropriate antibiotics .

Start taking broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily. Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Ensure to drink more water .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you

Thanks and Regards.
