Question: I had a EGD yesterday late afternoon with biopsy’s. Found I had inflammation and red patches. Testing also for H Pylori. Dr thinks from NSAIDs taken recently. My stomach is sore and achy today - is this normal?

The stomach ache is not due to the procedure done yesterday.
It is due to the inflammation you have in your stomach.

H.pylori infection and NSAID intake are the two common causes of gastritis ( inflamed stomach).
Your doctor would have prescribed PPI group of medications for relief (Omeprazole ).
You can take it for relief.
Avoid NSAID.
If you are positive for H.pylori, then it has to be eradicated for symptom relief and for that in addition to PPI, you may have to take antibiotics.
