Question: I got a cold sore yesterday, at first it was a bunch of little clusters. But once I woke up this morning it was a huge bubble filled with liquid. It ended up popping. Is that normal and will it still heal in the same process?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service
I have gone through your query.

Sometimes cold sore present as a single fluid-filled blister which can pop up.
It is a normally occurring phenomenon.

I would recommend you to apply a topical antibiotic like Fusidic acid cream or Neosporin ointment on the affected area twice daily for 7-10 days.

This should resolve it.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
Dr. Asmeet
