Brief Answer:
Can be due to spleen bruit or stomach distension

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to Ask a doctor. Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it should be evaluated in detail as most likely it can be due to stomach distension caused by gases etc however on examination below rib cage for any splenic enlargement or any pulsating blood vessel causing splenic bruit.

For reassurance ultrasound abdomen may be needed. It's less likely due to any chest or heart related condition.

Oral antacids like omerperazole before meals as well as motilly agents like domperidone may be helpful. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
