Question: I asked this before but my question was not answered. This appeared on my arm a week ago and has had little improvement. No change in personal care items. I did start a skin vitamin but stopped when this appeared. Can you kindly tell me what it looks like? I’m including a current photos. It itched initially but now doesn’t itch or hurt. Thank you in advance.

Brief Answer:
Discoid eczema, topical steroid, antihistaminic, moisturizing lotion

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It is looking like patches of discoid eczema.
I would recommend you to apply potent topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream on the affected areas twice daily along with frequent and regular application of a moisturizing lotion on the entire arms and legs 2-3 times in a day for 2 weeks.
Also take antihistaminic like tablet chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg once daily at bedtime for 10 days.
Steroidal preparations are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
This should resolve these rashes.

Dr Asmeet
