Question: I am having std.I am suffering from erectile dysfunction since 10 years.I have done std testing so many times.But the infection was not diagnosed.I am having infection in throat.My throat swab cultures are negative.Is there any other tests like biopsy culture or other?I came to know that the stds that cause ED are gonorrhea,chlamydia and syphilis.Syphilis and chlamydia lgg tests are negative.Can you please give suggestions

I have gone through the query and understood your problem.

I am of the opinion that you are suffering from Laryngopharyngeal reflux following the acid reflux disease. Acid reflux disease is secondary to your stress.

No swabs are biopsy would be beneficial in diagnosing your problem. If there had been any bacteria which would cause the infection in the throat, it would have been picked up by the swabs.

The best way to get rid of this issue is to do life style modifications and take few medications to prevent the Laryngopharyngeal reflux.

My suggestions to you are:
1. Drink frequent sips of warm water
2. Take medications for the acid reflux
3. Avoid coffee, chilled food and beverages
4. Avoid stress, do exercises regularly
