Question: I am having moderate to severe upper abdominal pain. Has been going on for about 5 days. Pain is starting to radiate to my back and gets alot worse if I eat or drink.

Moderate top severe upper abdominal pain radiating to back could be suggestive of pathology related to pancreas.
I would suggest you to visit your nearest emergency room and get a CT abdomen done to rule out pancreas pathology like pancreatitis etc.
Again increase of pain on taking food orally could be a sign of pancreatic involvement.
So my primary suspicion is acute pancreatitis once ruled out any further suggestion would be given.
In short move to the nearest hospital and get a ultrasound or CT abdomen done with serum level of enzymes like lipase amylase etc.
