Question: I am currently in Mexico where I am staying for a while, I have developed a kind of sensitivity with a feeling of inflammation down my spine and along my skin, it started also with headaches and chills but these have passed, just leaving me feeling like my skin and spine are very sensitive even to just move. I am avoiding going to a doctor unless i need to due to the current covid situation.. but would love information if this might be more urgent and I should go?

Brief Answer:
Spine pain along your skin with headache and chill symptoms could be caused by viral infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. Hope I can be of help for you today. I would like to be clear with you about your symptoms. You meant spine pain from the top of your neck down to your buttock? Or local spine pain? Spine pain along your skin with headache and chill symptoms could be caused by viral infection. Viral infection takes about 2 weeks. You can use acetaminophen to reduce pain if not better you can try ibuprofen.

I hope that It can help you, and please let me know if you have any clarification or question about that, and I would be welcome to discuss it with you further. I Hope you have good health.

It’s not so much spine pain as in back pain, but more it feels like there is inflammation in the nerves so the skin on all of my torso hurts to the touch with it been slightly worst on the skin down the spine, especially in the thoracic
