Question: I am 79, female, 10 year old stent in coronary artery, blood pressure controlled by medication, blood pressure today normal, but for last few days aching and warmth sensation in both inside upper arms, more on the right. No other symptoms. No numbness. BP 120/70 an hour ago and now 135/80, possibly raised due to worry. My doctor is away. Should I go to the hospital for a cardiac consult?

Brief Answer:
There is a need for some examinations

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,

I would advise you to see a doctor to perform and ECG, have some blood tests and undergo duplex ultrasound of upper extremities, if there will be need for it.
You can just refer to ER, they will perform all first line necessary examinations to rule out both cardiac and vascular problems.

Take care
