Brief Answer:
Before bath,for 1 hour.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I understand your concern.

Liquid paraffin has to be used preferably before bath.

A time period of one hour is allowed for the near complete absorption from the skin.

I also advise you to remember to apply it at the same time of the day.

You can apply it for 2-3 times a day for best results.

Avoid contact with eyes while applying.

Post your further queries,if any.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
This schedule is for beginners.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Same time of the day implies a constant fixed time every day.
For ex 7 am on every day.

2-3 times a day is for beginners.

For best results three times a day (say at 5 am, 2 pm and 10 pm) leaving for 30-60 mins as per your feasibility followed by bath.

Even though this is bit cumbersome, it has good results, since it stimulates and matches the diurnal pattern of natural oil production within the body.

After 2 weeks you can use it for 1-2 times a day.
After 4 weeks you can stick to once a day application.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Thanks for your advice.

I would like to know if liquid paraffin acts as an exfoliator for the dead skin. if it does should i scrub my skin hard after its application 3 times a day.

If not what does it do to the skin. like it penetrates into the skin and absorbs into the skin and heals or is it just an exfoliator???

Brief Answer:
Predominant Moisturizer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

The predominant action of liquid paraffin is moisturizer.
It helps to prevent the skin from drying by retaining water in the skin layers.

It prevents the skin from scaling and helps in retaining the shine and strength ,thereby indirectly preventing cracking and secondary bacterial infections

It has little exfoliating action, hence you need not scrub it into your skin.
