Brief Answer:
Remedy for keratosis pilaris

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.

Keratosis pilaris are tiny, pointed, follicular papules which give a rough or nutmeg grater or sand paper feeling to the skin of arms and legs. KPs are more common in those who are atopy and have dry skin. I suggest you to use a 10-12% glycolic acid based cream or lotion, twice daily on the affected skin. Glycolic acid is hydrating and exfoliates the keratin plug that tops KPs. In addition I suggest you to take oral vitamin A palmitate 25000IU to 50000IU daily for 2-3 months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
