Question: Hi Doctor My brother is having dandruff and hairfall problem and hes not using any oil but one day from hair wash his hair becomes oily. Can u suggest a solution

Brief Answer: ketoconazole shampoo Detailed Answer: Hello Dandruff is a fungal infection. The fungus destroys hair and hence there is hair fall. Oil in fact supplies more nutrition to fungus hence it must be avoided. Ask him to apply ketoconazole shampoo daily and avoid oil. He will get good response in a month.
