Question: Hello Doctor, i am Natarajan from XXXXXXX my wife had taken mifepristone 200mg(28th November)and misoprostol 800mcg(orally) on 30th November for an abortion upto 6 weeks of pregnancy. But no bleeding was started yet. Can she take again the same dosage. Kindly guide me in this regard.

I can understand your concern.

The abortion pill should only be taken under supervision because it may cause severe bleeding, infection and incomplete abortion.

After taking misoprostol bleeding occurs usually after 2-4 hrs.

In her case bleeding does not begin after taking misoprostol so she should consult a gynecologist and get her ultrasound pelvis test done to rule out the cause and to confirm the gestational week of pregnancy. Doctor may repeat the dose or may go for D&C (dilatation and curettage). It will be decided by doctor after ultrasound scan.
