Brief Answer:
Gastroparesis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the query.

The condition that you are describing here is called Gastroparesis in medical language. This is extremely common to have this after peptic ulcer or during ulcer. The stomach delays its emptying into duodenum.
First thing is to get Upper Endoscopy to check for any obstruction, if there is none, then diagnostic scintigraphy with radioactive barium is given to check for delayed emptying.
Generally diet or nutrition therapy helps for most people.
Reduce high fibre foods. Eat refined white bread, white rice etc which quickly pass off stomach. Purees, soups which are liquid foods help in quick emptying. Instead of fresh fruits canned ones help a lot. Try avoid solid foods as possible, instead opt for skim milk instead of regular ones, instant breakfast beverages, yogurt, custard, smoothies. Small and frequent meals up to 8 times a day helps largely.
There are some medicines also like PAN-D which helps to improve gastric emptying. Get them prescribed by the Gastroenterologist after endoscopy. If everything is clear meet a Nutritionist for perfect plan of diet.
This will surely help you.
