Brief Answer:
Recovery is slow and depends upon multiple factors

Detailed Answer:
Hello

My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Recovery from stroke is a slow process. Recovery depends upon the extent & severity of damage. If particular brain tissue has been damaged because of ischemia(loss of blood supply) then its irreversible. In case the injury is small and reversible then with the passage of time brain tissue improves and that particular function of that part reappears. As he has hypertension as well so you extra care needs to be taken. I would suggest you to follow all the advises of your treating neurologist so that improvement can occur.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
