Question: I am a software Engineer sitting for 8-9 hours in a chair. For the last two weeks I am having moderate back pain after I wake up and also when I sit for some time on the floor and try to stand.

pain point started from the middle of the back and is getting lower day by day. yesterday it is in the lower back. now it is below that, middle of buttocks.

Thanks for writing back.

I suggest you to get an MRI scan of the LS Spine which might help to find out any physical deformity like spondylosis which is common cause such low back ache.

Meanwhile you can apply Diclofenac gel twice or thrice daily for pain relief.
