Question: I'm 18 years old me and my boyfriend are trying to concevie. I get my nexplanon implant removed on tbe May of 6 we we're going to try unprotected sex on the 10 of May and hope of any chances from there. Is there any thing I can do to concieve faster or how long to wait before trying? Please I want to have a baby.

Brief answer....technically speaking you can conceive within a week Detailed answer.... Hello, Thanks for the query. Technically you can conceive within a week of removal of nexplanon. The moment the level of hormones in blood fall and you produce a egg ,you can get pregnant,however in reality it may take even up to 12 months before you become pregnant. It may take really long for nexplanon to leave your system. In fact,various authorities do suggest that one should wait for 2-3 normal periods to take place,after removal,so that hormonal system of your body gets perfectly normalised. This way your proper natural rhythm is formed and your body gets adapted to the fresh situation. This also would make you aware of your conceiving date and due delivery date.
