Need more information.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.

I have gone through your query. Fibator EZ and febustat can give some gastric discomfort and decrease of appetite.

You mentioned that you have problem with digestion. What symptoms you having? Do you have heart burn (burning sensation in chest and abdomen due to gastric reflux)? Do you have nausea, bloating? Are you having stools with undigested food? Do you feel like having bowel movements after eating? Do you consume alcohol regularly?

If it is problems with digestion then digestive enzyme supplements will be helpful. But if you having gastritis then proton pump inhibitors like rabeperazole and prokinetics like itopride for long term therapy will be helpful.

Please provide more informations that i asked you so that i can understand your problem well. I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Hello Doc.
I had a acute gout attack few weeks back as my uric acid levels are high at that time and is 5.6 now.
I had read somewhere that when we eat food there are two type of process which happen in our body one is digestion and second is fermentation. It is okay until our food is digested but if it is not getting digested it starts getting fermenting which generate various type of acids, and its raises the level of uric acid, LDL, VLDL, etc..... Now as my uric acid levels are high my LDL and VLDL levels are also high and my trigleysides levels are also high. So I thing that my metabolism is not digesting my food and hence I am asking help to have a good digestion enhancer.
I also had irregular habit of passing stole, I mean the time is not fixed such as when I woke up I don't have good pressure to pass the stool and all of a sudden when I am ready to move for work I get the pressure and it is very hard process to complete. I had to put lot of pressure to release the stool and then too I fill uneasy all the day long.
I was drinking alcohol regularly but now it is very occasional like once in a month and that to two to three drinks only. kindly correct me if I had some wrong information regarding the above said things.

Brief Answer:
Hi and welcome again.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for your follow up query.

Digestion of food is actually simplifying complex ones and absorbing to the body. That simplification process starts in mouth by chewing properly and gastric acids in stomach and further by enzymes in intestines. If the food is not absorbed or digested and remains in large intestine then it can get fermented. If you are not getting a bowel movement properly such waste materials will stay again and toxins are absorbed to body also.

For proper digestion- you should chew properly ,
-don't take excess food,
-don't lie down after food,
-drink water 1 hour after food,
-don't take food after 7 pm,
-don't lie down just after food. At least wait for 1 hour.
-Lemon juice with ginger is good for digestion also.

Include more dietary fibre in your daily food. Taking fresh fruits or vegetables will be helpful. This will help in a regular bowel movement. Take more water also. Taking warm water about 400ml just after waking up also helps in good bowel movement.

Increase in cholesterol level is usually a part of metabolic syndrome which is due to lack of proper exercise and unhealthy diet. Decrease intake of saturated fat and take food with more omega 3 and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Also decrease intake of sugar and sweets. Have a regular exercise like brisk walking or swimming. These all will help you to decrease LDL,VLDL and triglycerides.

Increase in level of uric acid is usually due to excessive intake of meat products or proteins. It can also increase due to low intake of water and excessive alcohol consumption. So avoid excessive alcohol, take more water and limit your meat intake to 100 grams daily. Avoid excessive tea and coffee as these can also increase uric acid level.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks

Sir,
I am Very much clear about the digestion issue. I would further like to know exact food to be taken in a days time like a chart or some thing as I am over weight also. Second can I join gym for daily exercise and can I do weight exercises for regaining the shape of my body.

Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up query.

You can join gym but better to avoid heavy weight exercises as you are having hypertension. You can go for cardio work out which is safer.

For omega 3 you can take oily fishes like mackeral , sardines or salmon but limit about 100 gram daily as you are having gout. You can also take fruits like guava or kiwi or green leafy vegetables like spinach or flax seeds in moderation which are good source of omega 3.

You can take whole grain cereals like whole wheat, brown rice , rye bread and pulses which is good for dietary fibre. Fruits with their pulp and vegetables as raw salads also good for fibre. You can include capsicum, carrots in salads which is good source of fibre also.

Saturated fats are from animal orgin like fat from milk and milk products like Cheese ,butter etc. and fat from meat and egg yolk. Polyunsaturated fats are present in nuts like almond, hasselnut , sunflower oil and ground oil. You can use those in moderation.

All food items contain proteins but meat ,poultry and fish should be restricted to around 100 gram per day. It shouldn't exceed more than 150 gram. Pulses can be taken in moderation. You can take skimmed milk also which is safe. Cereals go for the whole grain cereals which are safe.

The medicines you are taking Fibator EZ and febustat and losar is adequate treatment. But you should have a regular follow up with your treating doctor. For digestion i advise my patients with enzyme preparation like digestomen in XXXXXXX Usually given half an hour before food. But if you having proper hunger and appetite for food then no need to take it.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
