ETG is ethy glucuronide test, done to detect alcohol consumption in previous days. It can detect alcohol intake upto 80 hours before the test.

I do not know why you have to undergo this test. The best is not to take alcohol if you have to undergo this test.

I am not aware of any 100% efficacious method to flush ETG. However, common sense suggests drinking a lots of water and fluid should be able to flush it our through the urine route. Hope this helps you.
