How To Confirm The Paternity Of A Child?

default
Posted on Wed, 26 Apr 2017
Question: OK a girl and her partner scammed me, but I had unprotected sex with her as part of the con. She is now serving time for a bunch of different charges. She contacted me to tell me the prison and now a hospital told her that she is pregnant. The one instance we had was roughly 12 weeks ago. She refuses to have an amnio. What are my options, the police think she was sleeping around for her con jobs.

Brief Answer:
After delivery, do a paternity test!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for contacting us.

I suggest you stay calm. Until proven that you are the dad, deny to accept that. The burden of prove lies with her and she should comply and allow for testing to determine who the father of the child is. As long as she denies, you should categorically deny accepting any responsibility. It seems to me just a scam to get you take care of her bills. However, always endeavor to protect yourself from STDs during such encounters.

I wish you well. Keep me updated on how this unfolds.

Kind regards.
