Question: I have hair loss, and was wondering if it could be associated to heavy perspiration. My head radiates alot of heat to where my hair is wet

I appreciate your concern

Excess sweating alone from the hair alone does not precipitate hair fall. An itchy scalp with infectious process can lead to hair fall. Selsun shampoo with dove conditioner can be of help in reducing the hair fall. A dermatologist would be in a better position to examine the scalp for evidence of any infectious process. Iron, B 1, 6, 12 , zinc and folate deficiencies should also be corrected.
