Question: How long dose it take for liver enzymes to return to normal after taking paracetamol for years for back pain No evidence in last Lfts 6 months ago but i have stopped taking them as they are one of the main causes of liver damage

Hello,

It would take minimum of 6 months for enzymes to return back to normal however in case you want the recovery to be faster take liver rejuvenators like Silymarin twice daily.
Along with it take diet high in complex carbohydrates and lean protein but avoid too much fats.
