Brief Answer:
Regarding herpes prodrome.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The incubation period of genital HSV infection varies from 2-12 days (average 4 days). Prodrome may start a few hours or a day prior to the onset of herpes lesions.

Just an hour after sex is too soon for a prodrome.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Regarding genital herpes.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Prodrome is usually followed by visible changes like redness along with fluid-filled vesicles/bumps or sores. However, prodromal symptoms may start simultaneously with clinical lesions of genital herpes. The important thing is that there is usually a 2-3 days interval after infection and for any of the prodromal symptoms or clinical lesions to start.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.

Hi,

Those are penile papules. They are a normal finding. That is not herpes or any other STD.
