Question: I have a bruise caused by the IV needle . It also has fluid in & around it. A hemotoma?
How long does it take to absorb the fluid. Any special care?

Hematoma caused by Iv needle injury during hospitalization or while drawing blood is common.It appears like a bruise or a lump.
It happens whenever IV cannula punctures a vein.

You just apply Thrombophob gel once daily for 3-4 days and you see the changes.
