How Long Does A Patient Post Aortic Valve Replacement Take To Recover?

Question: My 81year old father is headed to the XXXXXXX clinic in XXXXXXX this coming week for aortic valve replacement,and mitral valve repair. Assuming there are no complications, what would be an educated guess as to the length of his stay?

I am glad to know your dad would be getting his heart valves repaired. If this is done through a non invasive endoscopic surgery, then it should be 5-7days. However, if they use other methods, this would require more time to heal.
