Question: How long does Viagra or a the generic version (vigora) stay in your system, and can it be detected by a urine sample (drugscreen for work). I don't have a prescription (embarrassed).

Brief Answer:
It is not detected in blood

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for choosing wwwhealthcaremagic
Sildenafil is not an illegal drug so even if it is detected, it does not constitute an offence. Any way, this is absorbed very quickly and metabolised in liver. Half life is 4 hours , meaning drug level becomes half in 4 hours. it is metabolised by cytochrome P 450 system in blood in to many molecules but one such molecule, UK- 3320 has same effet for some time. it is excreted by bile and feces so can't be detected in urine. but there are many drugs and foods, esp grapes which enhance its precence in blood .
