How Long Does Valium Remain In The System?

Question: I took Valium one time and it was 5 mg. I have a drug test coming up in 22 days. Will it still be in my system I'm 21 I weigh 157 lbs and I'm very active working out 4 days a week. I'm just worried about it so I needed some advice if I need to get a detox kit

There is no precise time frame when will urine test become negative for benzodiazepines including valium,but considering that you took 5mg only once, there is almost no possibility that it will be detected with standard drug tests after 3 weeks. Valium can be detected even after 4 weeks but only in people who take it for longer period and higher dosages. so I don't recommend detox kits or similar products. Wish you good health. Regards

what is the half life of Valium? And so you think that a detox kit would be a waste of money to go through the trouble of getting it out of my system? Because i cannot risk failing my test. And right now I have sufficient time to fix the problem.

It is about 24 hours but it depends on some other factors. There is no need for detox procedures. You don't need to worry.this is too small dosage for detection
