Question: took 15 gr morphine sulfate er at 11 0clock pm going in for back epidural at 10 am will ther be any residual effect to prevent sedation for epidural shot

Well since you have taken Er type of morphine there will be residual effect for 24 hours ( Er means extended release).

But I don't think that will be sufficient to avoid the sedation or local anesthesia for epidural.You can ask for a lower dose rather than avoid the sedation.

NO not a worry, but do mention before getting epidural as certain anesthetic agents used contains Epinephrine.
