How Is The Treatment Plan Decided Through A CT Scan Post Chemotherapy For Nasopharyngeal Cancer?

default
Posted on Thu, 4 Apr 2024
Question: I was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal cancer and currently on chemotherapy. After 2 cycles of chemo, my doctor suggested a CT scan to check the progress. I am attaching the first CT scan (before treatment) and comparison CT scan(after chemo), Since I wont be able to see my doctor before one week therefore I am eager to understand the findings of 2nd CT scan. Please check the reports and explain in simple terms, and also suggest what should be my next treatment plan.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Hello. Radiotherapy should be added

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have seen the report. So it suggests that chemotherapy has done wonders and tumor has shrunk. It is a good sign. Now radiotherapy also should be added for complete resolution of tumor if not given previously.
Thanks and regards
