Brief Answer:
Yasminelle does not work as emergency contraception.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
At the outset I would like to inform you that if he has ejaculated near the vagina without actual intercourse and if the semen enters the vagina you can get pregnant. Even the precum contains sperms and if that enters vagina also one can get pregnant. If this has been the scenario in your case you need to take emergency contraception if you wish to avoid pregnancy. I don’t think you are over reacting.
Yasminelle does not work as emergency contraception.
The emergency contraceptives available in XXXXXXX are, Levonelle 1500, Ellaone and Norlevo 1.5.
You need to take one pill within 120 hours of unprotected intercourse. The earlier after unprotected intercourse you take the pill, more effective it is.

Oral contraceptives available in XXXXXXX which can be used as emergency contraception are ovranette ( take 4 pills within 120 hours of intercourse and take 4 more pills after 12 hours) , microlite and micronova (take 5 pills within 120 hours of intercourse and take 5 more pills after 12 hours).
Are your periods regular? When was your last period? One more thing you need to know is that the first and the last week of menstrual cycle are safe. If you have unprotected intercourse during this time there is no possibility of pregnancy.
I hope I have answered your concerns.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to answer.

Thank you! There was no ejaculation.
I have my period right now and I am on Day 3 of it. Can I still take the morning after pill tomorrow after taking two Yasminelle today. Don't want to mess my body around too much!
My periods are regular but I just started back on the pill today for the first time in six months.
