How Effective Is Fisher Wallace Stimulator In Treating Anxiety And Depression?

Question: Hello,
Thank you for inquiring. I am ever so much better. I am still taking 300 mg. of lithium, 50 of Doxepin, but she did
switch to the benzodiazipine you suggested, which I cannot think of, but regular name is Klonepin. The biggest news for me, is that I have begun using the Fisher Wallace Stimulator, which has made a noticeable difference in my
mood and sleep. Do you know about this? My nurse practitioner told me about it, I did research, my psychiatrist faxed the company a prescription, and it has been just over two weeks. Again, thank you for inquiring. It is nice to be thought of.

Brief Answer:
It is cranial electrotherapy stimulation technique

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for contacting again. It is nice to hear that you are doing well.

I have not used Fisher Wallace Stimulator in any of my patients. However I am somewhat aware about it. It is a cranial electrotherapy stimulation therapy. Exact mechanism is not known how it works. It is used as third line of treatment when patient is not responded with first or second line. No significant side effects have been reported except irritation over electrode site.

Read manual with device properly and follow the instructions. Simultaneously continue the medicines. Keep in touch with your treating doctor about progress.

Feel free to discuss further.

Take care.
