Brief Answer:
fallopian tube

Detailed Answer:
Hi

The sperm reach egg travelling through uterus into fallopian tube where it meets egg and fertilisation takes place.

This embryo travels down to uterus and gets implanted.

If fallopian tubes are not healthy the embryo cannot travel down to uterus and hence remains in fallopian tube.

This leads to ectopic pregnancy.

Brief Answer:
2 things

Detailed Answer:
Hi

There are 2 different matters here. One is ectopic pregnancy and the other is atopic pregnancy.

I presume you got confused.

Atopic pregnancy might happen out side uterus and fallopian tubes. Commonly in ovary as fallopian tube fails to pick up egg and sperm being small in size can easily travel through uterus fallopian tubes and reach ovary.

Ectopic pregnancy is as described above. Please attach if you have any reports with you. So that I can go through the same and give you accurate answer.

Regards.
