Brief Answer:
Laprosvopic gastric banding.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for query.

In banding surgeon places a band around the upper part of your stomach which creates a small pouch to hold food. This limits the amount of food a person can eat by making him/her feel full after eating small amounts of food. When you would eat less your weight would drop.
If done laproscopically patient returns to work in about a week and can resume exercising in four to six weeks.

Please feel free to revert back if you have any other question regarding this procedure.
Thanks!
