Brief Answer: retinoic containing cream at night Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing in. Blackheads are due to blockage of sebaceous units in skin.It can occur due to excessive sebum secretion and oily skin. In my clinic such patients are benefited by applying retinoic acid containing cream at night time.Use of salicylic acid and tea tree oil containing face wash prevents further blackheads. Also few procedures like chemical peeling and dermabrasion can help in improving skin tone and preventing blackheads. Hope this helps. I will be available for follow up.
