Question: Hello
I started having post menstral bleeding. Not heavy but lasted week. Now a clear discharge . The only thing that has changed in my XXXXXXX is I've added methotrexate and folic acid for my exiting RA Another change was a new partner with unprotected sex.. very past history 20 years ago I had pre cancer warts removed. I've googled way to much and had host of scary stuff come back. Is this a common occurrence post menopause Or what are some of the health concerns I might need addresses
Thank you XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
You should see a gynecologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query to healthcare magic.

I have read your question carefully and understand you health concern.

In fact there are a many reasons that can cause post menopausal vaginal bleeding.
The most common cause is vaginal dryness due to decrease of female hormones but you should see your gynecologist to do a porper examination to exclude any serious reason such as endometrial cancer ( or cancer of inner layer of uterus)
Hence you should do minimally :
transvaginal scan
pelvic examination
Pap smear

Hope I have been helpful and please feel free for further discussion.

Regards
