Brief Answer:
First get the denture checked by your Dentist..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Many a times after wearing denture for the first time the mucous membranes get inflamed due to injury caused with the sharp areas of the denture..

So I would suggest you to consult your Dentist and get your denture examined..

First of all he will examine the denture to see if there are any sharp areas over the denture..

If there are sharp areas they will be trimmed and smoothed so that the denture does not hurt..

As of now you should apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine over the painful areas so that you are relieved of pain
Do cool water rinses..

You should avoid wearing the denture before getting it examined so that you do not damage the mucosa again..

Please write back for more queries..

Regards..
