Brief Answer:
CoQ10 and l-carnitine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your query.

Your problem is mainly due to intake of statins.

Muscle pain is adverse effect, with an incidence of approximately 10–11% in statin users, this is proved, so I usually supplement my patients with special drugs like CoQ10 and l-carnitine for treating certain statin myalgias.

I also advise my patients to have supplement of vitamin B 12 and vitamin D.

So I advise you to consult your treating doctor regarding CoQ10 and l-carnitine as these are to be taken under supervision of doctor.

It will definitely help you.

Thanks,

I have been on coq 10 for years. As well as D
My statin dosage is only 10.
Do you think by adding I carnitine and b this will help?
I started trying the statin every 2nd or 3rd day this week.

I have planta facia in the feet, and trigger finger, for which I had 2 shots of cortazone each . Is this a symptom of inflammation? Been taking 15mg of meloxicam occasionally, as my upper arms and legs hurt when sleeping on my side to prevent sleep apnea. The pain flared up right after a pneumonia vaxination about 1 month ago, after I had anthesia for trigger
Finger surgery. Do any of these others tie in?

Brief Answer:
YES.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query again, thanks for the response.

Yes, adding I carnitine and b this will definetely help you, I you advise my patients to have it.

Plantar faciitis in your case is definelty due to statins but trigger finger may no be.

Plantar faciitis can be aggravated even further by myositis, which intern is due to statins as in your case.

Trigger finger is due to repeated and strong gripping may lead to the condition

Both plantar faciitis and trigger finger are definitely due to inflammation.

Usually, after pneumonia vaccine You may develop muscle pain and fatigue . You may also experience joint pain. But this side effect may last for a few days following vaccination, but if more than 5 weeks then you must consult your physician and who have vaccinated you.

For sleep apnoea you should consult your physician as he will do you physical examination before advising any medication.

I hope you have got your answer, if any point in your mind than you can write to me, waiting for your response.

Thanks,

Dr.Chander XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
