Brief Answer:
Please provide more details.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for the query..

Root canal treatment is generally sufficient to treat infer in the tooth and it is filled with inert material so that it doesn't get infected again.

So first of all please answer the following questions so that I can guide you better.

1. In how many sittings the root canal treatment was completed or is it not complete and still going on?

2. How many days before the root canal treatment was completed?

3. Is there any pain in the tooth or swelling?

4. Do you have any layest x ray of the tooth, please upload a latest X-ray of the tooth.

5. What is your mother's age, is she having any medical problems or does she take any medicine?

6. Is the root canal treated tooth loose?

Please revert back with answers..

Regards.

Please enquire your Dentist.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
From the prescription you uploaded there is no details mentioned about the reason for doing Endodontic surgery.

So please ask your Dentist about the reason that why root canal cannot resolve infection and why Endodontic surgery is needed.
Let me know the reason so that I can guide you how to proceed.

Also please upload a latest X-ray of the tooth.

Brief Answer:
Please send the latest x-ray.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Severe infection can also be treated with root canal treatment and antibiotic combination.
So to know exactly what is the condition of her tooth I need to see the latest x-ray.
So please get her latest x-ray done and upload it here.
I will have a look and let you know.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Need a latest x ray.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I need a latest x ray and that too a small one precise to the tooth that is known as IOPAR.
Please get it done from a dental clinic and upload.
Because I need to see the current condition of the tooth to give you appropriate advise that root canal should be continued or Endodontic surgery or extraction which is best.

Thanks.
