How Can High Fever, Sore Throat, Dry Cough, Body Ache And Fatigue Be Treated?

Question: Very high Fever with Chills and sore throat. Dry Coughing. Duration 3 days. Body ache and weakness. LOSS of appetite. I have taken Azax 500 for 3 days with ibuprofen and Honitus Cough Syrup. Feeling uneasiness. What should I do or which medicines should I take. Kindly suggest.

Hi. Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I am Dr Anshul Varshney for your help.

You seem to be suffering from Viral fever. Viral fever usually takes 5 days to get settled.

In my opinion you should take Tab Paracetamol 650 mg thrice daily for next 2 days and an anti allergic like Levocetrizine for cough.

Do warm saline gargles.

If your fever doesn't respond in next 2 days we shall go for the tests.

I have been taking Ibobrufen for 3 days now... Chest pain and throat pain is there too
