Brief Answer:

Difficult to comment on the nature of medicine causing itching,

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Itching in the legs of your father could be age-related or related to drugs but it is very difficult to comment that which medicine is causing itching as the majority of the medicines he is taking can cause itching.

As itching in your father's age is very common because of dryness and age-related issues.

I would recommend him to apply a combination of topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream diluted in a moisturizing lotion containing white soft paraffin in the ratio of 1:3 twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Hydroxyzine 10 mg once daily at bedtime for few days regularly.

This will take care of the itching and will reduce the darkness of the legs.

Also ask him to use lukewarm water for bathing instead of hot water, wear cotton clothes and use a mild soap for bathing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Brief Answer:

Could be related to levipil

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have reviewed the attached photographs and looking at these it seems to be an eczematous skin rash. It could be related to levipil.

You need to consult a neurologist and ask for an alternative drug.

Meanwhile, you can stop fucibet and emoderm. I would recommend you to apply tenovate cream diluted in moisturex soft lotion in the ratio of 1:3 twice daily and give him tablet atarax 10 mg thrice daily for 2 weeks. This should take care of itching and pigmentation.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
