Question: My face has dry flaking skin. moisturizer does not work. the skin sometimes is red or feels itchy

What you may have is seborrheic dermatitis but I can't say for sure without seeing it. Seborrheic dermatitis causes a red oily scaly rash, usually around the eyebrows, nasal folds, and hairline.
