I have reviewed the attached photograph and it seems to be intertrigo which is inflammation of the body folds.
If I was his treating doctor I would recommend him to apply a steroid antifungal combination like clotrimazole beclomethasone combination cream on the affected areas twice daily for 10-14 days.
This should help in healing his lesions.
