Brief Answer:

Answer a few questions

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have reviewed the attached photograph and can appreciate a red bump on the face. I need to ask you a few questions:

Is it present only on the skin surface or can be felt underneath?
How did it start: over a pre-existing pimple or just like a bump?
Have you used any medicines on it over the past 6 months?
Do you have any other ailments or taking any medicines?

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Brief Answer:

Seems to be an epidermoid cyst

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

After going through your complaints and reviewing the attached photograph it seems to be epidermoid cyst.

It is a benign condition and the cyst can persist without causing any symptoms for years together.

However, sometimes the cyst can get inflamed or infected.
Unfortunately, there are no oral and topical medicines available for treating it.

You need to consult a surgeon or a dermatologist and get it removed.

It is a minor surgical procedure requiring 20-30 minutes.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
