Brief Answer:
She is mostly having allergic rhinitis and post nasal drip.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Her PFT report is almost normal, no post bronchodilator reversibility is seen.
So possibility of asthma is less likely.
Her IgE level is significantly high.
So possibility of allergic rhinitis is more likely.
Allergic rhinitis can cause post nasal drip and this cause cough with expectoration.
So start treatment advised by the doctor. It is appropriate treatment.
Also take iron tablet because her hemoglobin is slightly low.
Are you going for HRCT thorax?
I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your sister. Thanks.

Sir,

thank you.
We will be getting CECT throax report today. I will share the same with you once it is available.

As her IgE level is quite high, what is the severity of this(is it alarming?). Also do we need to take specific medicine for that.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
No need to worry for this.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

No, it is not alarmingly high.
It suggests allergic inflammation (allergic rhinitis).
And so anti allergic drugs should be started.
She is already prescribed montair LC (montelukast and levocetrizine).
It is perfect for higher IgE.
And yes, do let me her CECT thorax report.
I will be happy to help you further. Wishing her good health. Thanks.

Sir,

I have attached the CECT report in reports section by the name cect_scan_report.jpg.

Her cough is fine now but sputum is still there even after taking the prescribed medicines.

Also please let us know how long she should take these medicines.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Her CT thorax report is normal.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

This is normal.
No need to worry for major lung related diseases as her CT scan and PFT are normal.
In my opinion, she should continue these treatment for 1 month and then we can review after 1 month.

Hope I have solved your query. If you are not having further queries, then please close the conversation and rate my answer.

Wishing her good health. Thanks.
