Question: My son, age 26 was punched in his eye and has a busted blood vessel in the upper part. I have some GenTeal drops, will that work or should he see someone?

This is sub conjunctival hemorrhage. This requires no treatment and will be completely gone in a couple of weeks. Within 4 days you will see this resolving from the periphery and the part near the black of eye will go in the end. Genteal is OK but it will not hasten the process of resolution.
After a few weeks just check by closing the other eye that the vision of this eye is as good as the other eye.
