Question: Hi, whenever I breathe deeply I have a slight burning sensation on the left side of my chest.

I can understand your concern

As you explain this might be a sign of gastric reflux more than lung problems. This is also supported by your young age. However more information is needed for me to be helpful for you regarding your concern.

However I suggest you to stop smoking and alcohol of you use them. If your concern is for a long time and especially if it is associated with breathlessness than you should talk with your doctor to order a chest X ray for you.

Okay. So I don't smoke. I don't drink alcohol. I don't have fever. No pressure or pain. Just a mild burning whenever I breathe deeply right on the left side of my chest.

Given the above conditions you say gastric reflux is most probable. To exclude it there is an examination called gastroscopy . You should talk with your doctor for this. Unfortunately there are not blood tests for it just gastroscopy.
Wait and watch your condition. It it lasts than talk with your doctor for the above
