Brief Answer:
Sextafag is a polybacteriophage

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting us with your health question

Sextafag is a polybacteriophage that ingests bacteria. Thus it helps prevent the occurrence of bacterial infections. It has a minimal immuno-stimulating effect as well.

However, the safety and efficacy of sextafag have not been well studied. So at this point, it would not be necessary to take this medication. You can discuss with his doctor about why the medication was prescribed to your son and possibly suggest discontinuing treatment with it.

Hope I was able to help you
