Brief Answer:
X-ray cervical spine recommended

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being on 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I'm Dr. Ajay Panwar, a neurologist, here to answer your query.

As you are having continuous neck pain after that car event, I suggest you get an X-ray of neck/ cervical spine to rule out any injury. The feeling of vision loss is likely to be subjective only.

You may take a couple of days of non-steroidal anti inflammatory medicines to relieve the neck pain.

Hope that helps.
If you have any further queries, I shall be glad to answer them.

Regards,
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
MD,DM(Neurology)
