Question: Hi, i have noticed a small brown/black area between 2 of my teeth. I think it may be tooth decay. I have an appointment with the dentist but not until 1st October so wanted you to confirm what it is please. I have no other symptoms. No pain or swelling and the gums seems to he normal.

Brief Answer:
Looks like decay.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I have viewed the image and it looks like a decay..

But for confirmation you need to get it clinically checked so that the area can be checked with an explorer and confirmed..

Also if the decay is deep an x ray is done to see if the decay is reaching the nerves or not..

Please let me know for further questions.

Thankyou.
