Brief Answer:
There is neural foramina compromise in lumbar disc levels

Detailed Answer:

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

Lumbar with red circle
The image is showing end plate degenerative changes in the L4 and L5 vertebrae. There is compression of the L4-L5 disc and moderate neural formina compromise is visualised and is causing pinching of the nerve and can cause pain.

There is moderate neural foramina compromise in L3-L4 disc and mild neural foramina compromise in L5-S1 disc levels.

Please discuss this with your doctors as there is nerve pinching at multiple levels and take precautions to avoid progression of the condition.

Prevetebral soft tissues

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

The image 3 front of throat with yellow circles is showing normal prevetebral soft tissues anterior to C4 C5 vertebral levels and is normal.

The image 4 front of throat with yellow circles is showing the same are in the C4 C5 prevetebral soft tissues.

The image 5 front of throat with yellow circles has 4 images. In the third image there is a circle in the upper part showing the vertebral artery abutting the brain stem and is normal. The circles anterior to the spine are showing pre vertebral soft tissues.

Hi, Dr. Chail:

I uploaded 2 images, "1 Axial T1" and "2 Axial T2" of the thoracic 9-12.

My question is regarding the significantly different colors of the discs between 9-12, especially 12, also of the discoloration on the discs (not a consistent color).

Thank you again.

Brief Answer:
Difference in water in the discs can cause different colours

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

The intervertebral discs contain some water and are therefore grey on T2 images. When the water is less or there is disc desiccation then the discs are black and are degenerative changes. You can see that the centre of the disc is bright and the periphery is black and this is due to the water in the centre of the disc

The plane of imaging can differ and there can be mixing up of disc and vertebra and can causing varying colours and is artefactual.
